We continue the discussion on the cultural phenomenon of 2012 on this blog space here. The initial presentation was given by Michael Rosenthal on April 28th. 2011 at the Independent Scholars' Evenings held on Thursdays at the Moline Commercail Club. The online conversation and discussion continues. We include reactions, further comments and discussions.
2012 : Apocalypse or Enlightenment. We are now in the last phase of the Mayan Calendar, the Universal Underworld. This is the technical term used by Carl Johan Calleman. This is the most important level and of great interest right now. This will be Calleman's highpoint of the evolution of consciousness. In this final phase of evolution, all of religion, all the higher ideals of Humankind come to their culmination.
We are also seeing some related major physical events in line with the phases of the Mayan calandar. There is much discussion on this Universal phase of the calendar.
